I am the cat

V0.1 - Early Beta of I am the cat.

This build features 1 of the 5 explorable areas of the game and allows you to talk to 4 of the 5 main characters. 
This is a demo build that allows you to play the first 2 in-game days. 

I Am The Cat is a cosy narrative walking simulator, where you play as a little cat called Lily, and sometimes people tell you their problems.

All characters, textures, and environments are completely hand-painted in watercolour

What to expect from the next update:

• An additional area to explore
• Animations for NPCs
• Jump and Dash animations for Lily
• Bug fixes and quality of life improvements

What to expect from the final game:

•  A fully hand-painted world that feels lived-in
• More dynamic movements from Lily the cat
  • Lily will be able to Dash, jump, and climb with accompanying animations
  • Lily will have a cat-ologue of idle and incidental animations that don't add to gameplay but do add cuteness 
• Fully animated characters with set routines
• Characters with dialogue that varies based on how much you interact with them and get to know them
• Collectible items 
• More things to knock over 
• A cosy and ambient soundtrack
